Delivery & Returns

Delivery

When you place an order, we suggest you have it delivered to a work address rather than a home address, if you will not be at home. Our couriers only deliver between 8am and 5pm, and will require a signature on receipt.
You can amend your shipping address before you complete check out. We're sorry, but we can't change the delivery address of a parcel once your order has been placed.

Orders placed before 2pm on a Friday will be delivered on a Saturday.
A signature is required on receipt and will be shipped via Royal Mail
If you are not around to accept your parcel a calling card will be left.


Standard Delivery within 3 working days: £3.95 (UK Mainland, Northern Ireland)

  • Your order will be sent out via City Link, DHL or Royal Mail couriers.

  • If you are not around to take delivery of your parcel, the carrier will leave a calling card telling you how you can pick it up.

  • If you are not around to accept your parcel, the carrier may leave it with a neighbour, or in a safe place (i.e. hidden from sight and protected from the rain) if they think it is safe to do so. A calling card will be posted through your door to let you know this has been done.

  • From Monday to Thursday, orders must be placed by 2pm to ensure delivery the next working day. Orders placed after this time will be delivered in two working days.
  • Orders placed before 2pm on a Friday will be delivered on Monday.
  • Next Day Delivery orders placed after 2pm on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday, except bank holidays.
  • Orders placed on a bank holiday will be delivered in two working days.
  • Unfortunately we are unable to deliver on a bank holiday or a Saturday. In this instance please expect your delivery on the next working day.
  • Our carrier will deliver your parcel between 8am and 5pm. Unfortunately we cannot give you a more specific delivery time than this.
  • A signature is required on receipt.

  • Your order will be dispatched via the most suitable carrier, depending on size and weight.
  • Unfortunately, we do not offer an Express Delivery option on European, Southern Ireland and Northern Ireland deliveries.
  • Once your parcel has arrived in your country, it will be passed on to an internal postal service, according to standard delivery procedures.
  • We're sorry, but we can't change the delivery address of a parcel once your order has been placed.
  • If you aren't available when your parcel is delivered, the delivery driver will leave a calling card with instructions on how to pick it up.

Rest Of the World: £29.95

  • Unfortunately, we do not offer an Express Delivery option on worldwide deliveries.
  • Once your parcel has arrived in your country, it will be passed on to an internal postal service, according to standard delivery procedures.

  • Please be aware that your parcel can be delayed by customs. We have no control over this, and cannot supply any details why or for how long your parcel will be delayed.
  • Excludes USA, South America, Dubai and Canada, Australia.


Returns & Exchanges

Returns Policy

We offer a 100% guarantee on our items. If you are in any way dissatisfied with the goods you have ordered, we will exchange them or give you a full refund for the items. This is only where you return them to us in their original condition and packaging, unworn and unwashed, with all labels intact. When your item is received by our Return's Department it will be thoroughly checked for any sign of wear. We may also perform chemical tests to detect body odour and deodorant. If there is any evidence that the item has been worn or it is not in a resalable condition due to any reason we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item.

Once we have received your goods we will then process your request for either a refund or replacement. Please allow up to 7 days from receipt of your return for this to be done. In busier periods such as Halloween, Christmas and Valentines this can be up to 21 days.

Please note that certain products are excluded from our general returns policy for hygiene reasons - these are all hosiery and bodystockings and individual bottoms, these cannot be returned

Sale items can only be exchanged or we can offer a credit note which is valid for 6 months. 

Care Instructions for Deluxe Costume

 

·         All garments are supplied in a hanging garment bag, this must be returned with all items along with the original packaging. Please handle items carefully when removing from hanger and bag.

 

·         When trying on garments please do not force them on, to avoid damage the back bustle bow must be removed before trying on. We ask that you put these garments over your head and do not step into them.

 

·         The Deluxe range is of higher value and quality than the standard costumes, great care must be taken at all times whilst the item is in your possession, any signs of wear, tear or damage will void this item being refunded.

 

·         Please avoid exposing the garment to any strong odours such as smoke and cooking. Any items returned with strong smelling odours will not be refunded or replaced.



How to return an item

You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your item/s by emailing returns@legavenue.co.uk to confirm the item you are returning so we know to expect return delivery of it. When you contact us you must quote your "Reference" number which can be found in the centre of your packing slip, you must then state the reason for the return and we will give you a unique return code to help us identify your package when it is received by us. A copy of your invoice or packing slip must be included within your return for us to identify where the parcel came from, this will also stop any delay with us refunding or exchanging your item. We cannot be held responsible for parcels being lost or damaged that you are returning to us. We would suggest all returns be sent recorded delivery and postage would need to be paid for.

Return of Faulty Goods

If you believe the goods we have supplied to you are faulty, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the goods, you should return the item to us together with a note and your invoice, explaining what you believe is the problem and stating the original order number. When we receive the item, we will investigate the fault and contact you to agree the most appropriate resolution. We have a very strict dispatch system where items are photographed and catalogued as they are received by us from the warehouse. We reserved the right to produce this evidence in the event of any dispute as to the cause of the fault. We accept no liability for faulty items once the item has been worn by you.

Returns period

Our normal returns period is 7 days from when you receive the goods, and any returned items must be received by us within 7 days.

Please note that these dates are those by which any returns must be received by us, so please allow sufficient time for your goods to reach us. Any goods received outside the return period will not be refunded and can be posted back to you at your own cost.
